The Mt. Olive Library Committee thanks Hal Natvig for his donation of a bookcase for the church library that is relocating to the Narthex.

Mt. Olive is blessed to have several talented organists/pianists for our worship services. Two of those individuals, Lexi Fosburgh and Kaleb Schmidt, are moving out of the area. We thank God for their service to our congregation, and we pray that He will bless them in their new endeavors. Please extend your thanks to them for their service to our congregation.

Chancel Committee Update:

“Mt. Olive Members,
As I’m sure you’ve noticed, the Chancel is getting an update. You can view color samples for the chancel wall and the front (white) walls on the board in the narthex. These colors will likely be the final choice for the front walls unless there’s significant feedback in opposition. The cross will remain in place until the paintings are complete and ready to be hung. The stone accent will be implemented soon, although we don’t have an exact date on when. Our mason, Rick Hultgren, will let us know soon.In the meantime, we’ll look to commence with painting the walls in the weeks to come. Change is slow and then suddenly fast! We hope that you’ve had time to adjust to the new look of the chancel area and we appreciate you bearing with us as we make these updates. If you have any questions, contact me at
mjleyrer@gmail.com).” -Ty Leyrer
